Wins $50,000 on $2,000,000 Mega Bucks game
A lucky construction worker filled up more than a gas tank during his trip to a nearby gas station. His visit turned into a $50,000 payday when the happy man picked up a $2,000,000 Mega Bucks scratch-off.
The 30-year-old plays Lottery games several times a week and found his winning scratch-off at Wheaton Exxon, which is located at 11310 Georgia Avenue in Silver Spring. He bought the $30 game because he was attracted to the game’s artwork featuring bags of money and piles of cash. The Silver Spring resident purchased one instant ticket and now has his $50,000 fortune.
The lucky winner has no plans for his prize yet. He said he has only shared news of his win with a few family members. The game still has one $2 million top prize remaining along with one more $50,000 prize and thousands of others ranging from $30 to $5,000.
