Baltimore grandmother finds Lottery luck with Bonus 7-11-21 game
A Baltimore couple who shop together regularly at Super Save Mart in the city also routinely adds a few special little something to their groceries – Maryland Lottery scratch-offs.
Lorraine Redd didn’t know it until they got home but one of the three Bonus 7-11-21 scratch-offs she selected recently carried a top prize of $10,000! The 58-year-old retiree had bagged the biggest prize of her life.
The mother of three adult children and grandmother of seven said she picked the new $2 game because there were three instant tickets left in the roll. She added that she’s been lucky in the past when she has purchased consecutive tickets. The self-proclaimed scratch-off fan bought all three and headed home with fellow shopper George Bernard Wilson. The longtime couple began scratching off their instant tickets and Lottery luck was lurking on the second of her three instant games.
“She was in the right place at the right time,” said George, who confesses that he wasn’t as lucky with his selections that day.
The happy winner plans to spend her prize on interior design changes to her home as well as a vacation. She also plans to keep visiting her lucky retailer, which is located at 2100 East Monument Street in Baltimore. There are plenty of prizes remaining on the Bonus 7-11-21 game, including five more $10,000 top prizes and thousands of others ranging from $2 to $1,000.
