Silver Spring Man Follows Hunch and Sails to $50,000 Win

Claims Top-Tier Cruise for Cash Scratch-Off Prize

Arthur Coleman - Cruise for CashFor some people, relying on a hunch may seem a little far fetched. However, for 45-year-old Arthur Coleman, listening to his sixth sense led to a top-tier $50,000 Cruise for Cash prize. “I really believe it was meant for me to win,” said Arthur. “First of all, I have my own limousine service and I wouldn’t even have been in that area where I won the money if it weren’t for the driving job I had in Waldorf.”

Coleman told Lottery officials that he purchased a Cruise for Cash scratch-off ticket with his last five dollars that his companion Crystal had given him. “I just had a strong feeling I was going to win some money, he said. “I just didn’t know it would be for this amount.” The couple said that the money couldn’t have come at a better time because business has been down and money has been tight. “We feel blessed,” said Coleman’s friend, Crystal. “Now we have a little breathing room.”

Besides paying bills, the lucky couple said that since they won playing a cruise-themed ticket, they even may consider taking a ‘cruise to nowhere.’   The winning ticket was purchased at Charles Station on Charles Parkway in Waldorf.
