Scratches her way to big win on 50X The Cash game
Lottery luck delivered a cash infusion to a Montgomery County woman recently, after she played a 50X The Cash instant ticket and won the game’s second-tier prize of $50,000.
She traveled to Snowden River Liquors, located at 9350 Snowden River Parkway in Columbia, to find her lucky game.
The $10 scratch-off lived up to its name. The 30-year-old only had to reveal one box that held a 50X symbol to find her big win. That box, however, was the last one in the last row on the instant ticket’s play area. After revealing the 50X symbol and then the $1,000 prize, the Silver Spring resident tallied up her exciting windfall.
The 50X The Cash scratch-off launched with a family of X Multiplier games on Jan. 18. The five games — 5X The Cash, 10X The Cash, 20X The Cash, 50X The Cash and 100X The Cash — offer “Xtra Xciting” ways to win instant prizes of up to $1 million and second-chance prizes of up to $50,000. The final second-chance drawings take place today, March 31, and April 28.
This game still has many instant prizes available for future winners to find, including six $100,000 top prizes, nine unclaimed $50,000 prizes and more than 430,000 prizes ranging from $10 to $10,000.
