Quantez Diggs - Platinum Crossword

Catonsville resident Quantez Diggs wins a $50,000 Platinum Crossword top prize!

Takes home top prize on the Platinum Crossword scratch-off

Quantez Diggs is a big fan of crossword and bingo scratch-off games. She plays them regularly, winning a few bucks here and there. All of that changed yesterday when she revealed six red words on a Platinum Crossword scratch-off, making her $50,000 richer.

After scratching the ticket at home and checking it five times, the 42-year-old was still shocked. “I yelled ‘Oh My God’ and went to my aunt’s house for confirmation,” the mother-of-three and grandmother-of-one said. The same aunt accompanied Quantez to Lottery headquarters today to claim the big prize.

“When she came in and showed me that ticket, I couldn’t believe it,” her aunt said. “She even numbered the words on the ticket so we could make sure we weren’t missing something.”

The winner, who is a GNA for Manor Care, has some simple plans for her prize. She plans on paying bills and helping her children. The winning ticket was purchased at 40 West Exxon, located at 6037 Baltimore National Pike in Baltimore. The Platinum Crossword game, which launched on March 25, has seven $50,000 top-prizes remaining.
