Ravens Trip Winners-MetLife stadium-NYWinners entered non-winning Ravens Scratch-Offs to win unique experience

Six lucky Lottery players stepped off of a train platform and into a VIP experience, courtesy of the Maryland Lottery & Baltimore Ravens. The group traveled with the team on the team charter, an Acela train departing from Baltimore’s Penn Station for the Ravens matchup with the New York Giants. Each winner and a guest won tickets to the away game, a one night hotel stay in New York City and $500 spending money.

The winners, Ravens fans from all over Maryland included: Suman Thapa of Gaithersburg, Greg Samples of Severn, Edward Thompson of Rockville, Gail Manning of Gwynn Oak, Crystal Cleaveland of Waldorf and Patson Nyamu of Essex. The lucky winners won their trip by entering non-winning $2 and $5 Ravens scratch-offs, converting those tickets into entries in the Lottery’s 2016 second-chance contest.

The group had a close encounter with Ravens players on the train, participating in an in-transit Q & A with Defensive Tackle Brandon Williams and Defensive End Lawrence Guy. Later at a winner’s welcome reception, the winners and their guests had a chance to meet former Raven Bart Scott.

“World-class accommodations (travel, food, hotel and meeting Ravens players). Excellence all the way,” said winner Edward Thompson.

The excitement of game day was sure to be remembered by the winners, who got to experience the pregame warm-ups on the field prior to the game.

“We had such a beautiful time,” said lucky player Gail Manning.

The Lottery’s Ravens scratch-off has three more drawings scheduled, including one on November 7th with the chance to win a deluxe trip with the Ravens – this time to Foxborough for the Raven’s Monday night matchup with the New England Patriots. The deadline to enter this drawing with a non-winning Ravens ticket is Sunday, November 6th at midnight. Good Luck to all players!
