Finds luck with $100,000 Richer game
A Harford County resident who is seeing his wife through the worst of times got a bit of Lottery luck that he said should help make things a little easier.
The 61-year-old caregiver purchased a $10 $100,000 Richer instant ticket and scratched his way to a $10,000 prize. This is the largest win ever for this longtime Lottery player, who is the father of four and grandfather of five. The Forest Hill man and his wife, who has a terminal illness, have been married 37 years.
The Johns Hopkins University employee purchased the lucky ticket at the 7-Eleven at 7330 Harford Road in Baltimore, becoming the last of 22 $10,000 winners. The game launched nearly two years ago. Meanwhile, the $100,000 Richer game still has one more $100,000 top prize unclaimed and waiting to be found at Lottery retailers.
