Lucky tickets sold in Annapolis, Baltimore, Jessup, Towson
Did a lucky leprechaun deliver magically delightful winning tickets to four Bonus Match 5 players yesterday? They are $50,000 richer thanks to having the winning numbers on tickets sold in the March 17 St. Patrick’s Day drawing.
Check your tickets if you bought them at any of these locations for the drawing:
- Goucher Exxon, 800 Goucher Boulevard, Towson (Baltimore County)
- Jessup Shell, 8755 Washington Boulevard, Jessup (Howard County)
- Pantry 1 Food Mart, 1090 Spa Road, Annapolis (Anne Arundel County)
- Woodmoor Shell, 7001 Liberty Road, Baltimore (Baltimore County)
The lucky tickets match the five winning numbers of 8, 20, 26, 31 and 38; the Bonus Ball was 2. Lottery officials encourage winners to sign the backs of their tickets immediately and put them in a safe location.
Winners typically get 182 days from the date of the drawing to claim prizes. However, the Lottery has temporarily extended claiming deadlines due to Maryland’s COVID-19 state of emergency.
These lucky players can claim the prizes by mail or in person by appointment at the Lottery headquarters’ Customer Resource Center located at 1800 Washington Blvd. in Baltimore. These four wins bring the number of top-prize-winning Bonus Match 5 tickets sold in 2021 to eight.
The retailers also have reason to celebrate! The Lottery will give each store a bonus of $500 for selling a top-prize winning ticket in the game.
Bonus Match 5 drawings take place seven days a week. Players select five numbers ranging from 1 to 39. The Bonus Ball drawn from the remaining 34 numbers provides extra chances to win. Your ticket is a winner if you match five, four or three of the original five winning numbers selected in the drawing. If you match the Bonus Ball number, you only need to match four, three or two of your original numbers to win!
