Street Resident Wins $50,000 on The Price is Right® Scratch-off

A slow rush hour led to Bridget Barlow’s discovery of the second $50,000 winning scratch-off in this popular game.

Finds Lottery luck at local Royal Farms store

The evening rush hour was slower than usual when Bridget Barlow of Street saw a Royal Farms up ahead with the bright florescent sign of the Maryland Lottery. Her decision to pull into the convenience store parking lot to cash several winning scratch-offs led to a $50,000 win on The Price is Right® instant ticket!

After claiming the prizes on her scratch-offs, Bridget wanted to see if her Lottery winning streak would continue. She went over to the Lottery vending machine and looked for her favorite games, which are crossword scratch-offs. Seeing none available at the Harford County convenience store, Bridget selected two The Price is Right® scratch-offs and took them home to play.

While her husband cooked dinner, the Harford County resident scratched the two games. She hoped one of the new games would deliver an even bigger win than her previous record score of $500. The first $10 scratch-off gave her a $20 prize. Feeling lucky, she scratched the next instant ticket and saw what she first thought was a $10,000 prize! She almost forgot to scratch off the rest of the instant ticket because of her excitement. When she did, the happy winner realized her prize was not $10,000 but $50,000!

The 53-year-old told Lottery officials that the big win could not have come at a better time. She plans to put the winnings toward bills and then will save the rest for future endeavors.

The Price is Right® scratch-off game launched on April 22, 2019. There are still 12 remaining $100,000 prizes, and 14 remaining $50,000 prizes waiting to be found at Lottery retailers across the state. If you have a non-winning The Price is Right® scratch-off, make sure you enter it into the second-chance promotion for a chance to win up to $100,000.
