The Price is Right Scratch-off Gives Forklift Operator a $50,000 Prize

Final second-chance drawing takes place next week

262-The-Price-Is-Right-ITVMLess than a week before the Maryland Lottery’s final drawing for The Price is Right second-chance promotion, a Capitol Heights man claimed the $50,000 top prize on The Price is Right scratch-off. The forklift operator purchased his winning ticket at Riverdale BP.

The winner, who came to Lottery headquarters with his daughter and a friend, enjoys playing scratch-offs and was surprised by his big win.

The 49-year-old Prince George’s County resident plans to use his prize to pay bills and possibly take a vacation. He isn’t the only one who wins. For selling the $50,000 winning top-prize ticket, Riverdale BP at 5500 Kenilworth Ave. in Riverdale will receive a $500 bonus.

The Price is Right scratch-off has one instant $50,000 top prize remaining, in addition to one $50,000 second-chance prize. To enter the second-chance contest, players must submit non-winning The Price is Right scratch-offs into their My Lottery Rewards account. Each non-winning instant ticket entered equals one chance to win $50,000. They must submit entries by 11:59 p.m. (midnight) on Wednesday, Oct. 26. The Lottery will announce the winner on Oct. 27.
