The Week in Winners: $2.6 Million FAST PLAY Ticket Sold in Baltimore Tops Lottery Prize List

Players across Maryland won or claimed more than $27.5 million during week ending Oct. 24

A progressive jackpot on the FAST PLAY Diamond Mine game hit for more than $2.6 million on Oct. 21 in Baltimore, delivering the Maryland Lottery’s top prize last week. Meanwhile, another half-dozen Lottery players in Baltimore (two), Ellicott City, Joppa, Middle River, and Rosedale each won $100,000 in the past week.

In all, 26 players across the state won or claimed prizes of $10,000 or more, and the Lottery paid more than $27.5 million in prizes in the seven days ending Oct. 24.

Winners of prizes larger than $25,000 must redeem their tickets at the Maryland Lottery Claims Center in Baltimore, which is open by appointment only. Prizes of up to $5,000 can be claimed at any of more than 400 Expanded Cashing Authority Program (XCAP) locations.
