The Week in Winners: FAST PLAY Ticket Worth $786,946 is Week’s Top Lottery Prize

Players across Maryland won more than $25.9 million during week ending Nov. 28

A FAST PLAY ticket sold in Annapolis with a progressive jackpot of $786,946 was the largest Maryland Lottery prize of the past week, followed by a Racetrax win worth $60,564 in Laurel, and a $50,000 Powerball prize on a ticket sold in Silver Spring.

The big FAST PLAY win came Nov. 24 on the Hit The Jackpot ticket, which starts with a $250,000 jackpot that increases with the purchase of each ticket until a jackpot-winner is sold. The game launched in July, and this was the first of its progressive jackpot prizes to be won — 14 more of them remain.

In all, 20 players across the state won or claimed prizes of $10,000 or more, and the Lottery paid more than $25.9 million in prizes in the seven days ending Nov. 28.

Winners of prizes larger than $25,000 must redeem their tickets at the Maryland Lottery Claims Center in Baltimore, which is open by appointment only. Prizes of up to $5,000 can be claimed at any of more than 400 Expanded Cashing Authority Program (XCAP) locations. All Maryland Lottery retailers are authorized to cash tickets up to and including $600. More information is available on the How To Claim page of mdlottery.com.
