Maryland Lottery players won or claimed $26.1 million during the week ending July 26
A $100,000 win on a ticket sold in Annapolis, a $77,777 winner in Waldorf and five wins of $50,000 each in Berlin, Elkton, Mitchellville, Ocean City and Pasadena were the biggest scores of the past week for Maryland Lottery players across the state.
In addition, there were eight prizes of $10,000 or more on tickets that were sold last week, but remain unclaimed as of July 27.
In all, Lottery winners won or claimed nearly $26.1 million in the seven days ending July 26, with 32 tickets worth $10,000 or more that were either sold or claimed during that span.
The Maryland Lottery Claims Center in Baltimore is open by appointment only. The Claims Center was closed from March 30 to June 24 due to COVID-19. During that time, winning tickets worth more than $5,000 could only be redeemed by mail, and many winners instead opted to hold on to their tickets and wait until the Claims Center reopened.
Lottery prizes up to and including $25,000 can be claimed at five of Maryland’s six casinos with no appointment necessary. Prizes of $25,001 or more must be claimed by appointment at the Lottery Claims Center in Baltimore. More information is available on the How To Claim page of mdlottery.com.
