The Week in Winners: Two $100,000 Prizes Claimed, Third Big Winner Sold in Columbia

$28.8 million won by Maryland Lottery players in the seven days ending March 1

Three Maryland Lottery players – one each from Baltimore, Columbia and Hagerstown – are $100,000 richer after buying winning tickets, and the player from Columbia may not even know it yet.

The Baltimore and Hagerstown wins were on scratch-off tickets, but, as of March 9, the Columbia player’s winning Powerball prize from the March 7 drawing was unclaimed.

In all, Maryland Lottery players won or claimed more than $28.8 million in prizes during the week of March 2-8.

In all, 27 tickets worth $10,000 or more were sold or claimed in the seven days ending March 8, including 17 scratch-offs and 10 draw game tickets. Here is the weekly roundup:
