Baltimore County retailers sell lucky top-prize tickets
The thunderstorms that swept through the Baltimore region Thursday showered Lottery luck on our Bonus Match 5 players, who have three $50,000 top-prize tickets from the May 2 drawing.
Two of the winning tickets were sold at Linda’s Café, a Maryland Business Enterprise Program retailer located at 1500 Woodlawn Drive in Woodlawn. The third winning ticket hails from Pimlico Check Cashing located at 3538 Brenbrook Drive in Randallstown.
If you visited either of these Baltimore County retailers, check your Bonus Match 5 ticket from the May 2 drawing to see if it matches the five winning numbers of 4, 8, 11, 21 and 27; the Bonus Ball was 6. Lottery officials urge winners to sign the backs of their tickets and keep them in a safe location. The winners have 182 days from the drawing date to claim their prizes and must come in person to Lottery headquarters at 1800 Washington Blvd. in Baltimore. This makes five top-prize winning Bonus Match 5 tickets sold since Friday, April 26, and 21 top-prize tickets in 2019.
Both retailers have reason to celebrate! The Lottery will give each store a bonus of $500 for selling a top-prize ticket in the game, which makes Linda’s Café double lucky with its $1,000 total bonus!
Bonus Match 5 drawings take place seven days a week. Players select five numbers ranging from 1 to 39. The Bonus Ball drawn from the remaining 34 numbers provides extra chances to win. Your ticket is a winner if you match five, four or three of the original five winning numbers selected in the drawing. If you match the Bonus Ball number, you only need to match four, three or two of your original numbers to win!
