Three $50,000-Winning Powerball, Bonus Match 5 Tickets Sold

Lucky tickets from Thanksgiving week drawings sold in Glen Burnie, Silver Spring, Woodlawn

A feast of winnings awaits two Powerball players and one Bonus Match 5 player who won $50,000 prizes in Thanksgiving week drawings.

Check your Powerball tickets from the Wednesday, Nov. 27 drawing and your Bonus Match 5 tickets from the Thursday, Nov. 28 drawing to see if you enjoyed a brush with Lottery luck.

Players bought the two $50,000 winning Powerball tickets at retailers in Silver Spring and Woodlawn. The winning numbers were 15, 26, 37, 53 and 55; the Powerball was 21. The lucky stores were the Seminary Beer, Wine & Deli at 9458 Georgia Avenue in Silver Spring and Maryland Business Enterprise Program #119 convenience store at 7500 Security Boulevard in Woodlawn.

The Powerball jackpot rolled on Nov. 27 and Nov. 30, reaching an estimated $120 million annuity value for the Wednesday, Dec. 4 drawing. The estimated cash option is $82.7 million. These two prizes boost Maryland’s tally of $50,000 Powerball wins in 2019 to 48.

A Bonus Match 5 player bought a $50,000 top-prize-winning ticket at 7-Eleven #32909 at 6930 Aviation Boulevard in Glen Burnie. This is the 43rd top-prize-winning ticket sold in the game in 2019.

Lottery officials encourage winners to sign the back of their tickets immediately and put them in a safe location. Winners have 182 days from the dates of the drawings to claim their prizes in person at Lottery headquarters, located at 1800 Washington Blvd. in Baltimore.
