Three Win $10,000 Maryland Lottery Prizes

Among the many recent Maryland Lottery winners were three who claimed prizes of $10,000 at Lottery headquarters in Baltimore. The lucky players are from Middle River, Ocean City and Silver Spring.

Most recently, a 22-year-old man from Ocean City scratched off a $10,000 prize on a $1,000,000 Blowout instant ticket purchased at 7-Eleven #23366 at 5809 Coastal Highway in the Worcester County resort town. Six of the seven $1 million prizes on the $20 instant ticket remain unclaimed, along with nearly 400 prizes in the $1,000 to $50,000 range and thousands of other smaller prizes.

On Oct. 5, a 35-year-old Silver Spring man claimed a $10,000 winning Mega Millions ticket purchased for the Sept. 28 drawing. The lucky player bought the ticket the day before the drawing at Aspen Hill Lottery, Beer & Wine at 13745 Connecticut Avenue in Silver Spring.

In addition, a 57-year-old man from Middle River cashed in a $10,000 top prize on an OLD BAY® Bucks instant ticket. He found his lucky scratch-off at Food Lion #1405 at 1413 Fuselage Avenue, also in Middle River. A single $10,000 top prize remains in the popular $2 scented scratch-off game, along with more than 50 winners worth $500 to $5,000.
