Tickets Expiring: Lottery Looking for Five Big Winners

Last date to claim approaching for two Powerball tickets

The Maryland Lottery has five unclaimed draw game prizes of $50,000 or more, two of which are approaching their claiming deadlines.

Winners of draw game prizes have 182 days after the date of a drawing to claim prizes, and a pair of $50,000-winning Powerball tickets are set to expire within the next month.

One of the $50,000 Powerball winners bought the lucky ticket for the March 27 drawing at the 7-Eleven store at 22 Watkins Park Drive in Upper Marlboro. The last date to claim is Wednesday, Sept. 25.

The other $50,000 Powerball winner was sold for the April 17 drawing at The Gateway Tavern at 3520 Annapolis Road in Baltimore. The last date to claim on that ticket is Wednesday, Oct. 16.

Also still unclaimed:

  • – A $1 million Mega Millions ticket for the June 21 drawing sold at the Sheetz at 8408 Woodsboro Pike, Walkersville. Last date to claim is Dec. 20.
  • – A $50,000 Bonus Match 5 ticket for the July 5 drawing sold at the 7-Eleven at 162 Ritchie Highway, Severna Park. Late date to claim is Jan. 3, 2020.
  • – A $775,000 Multi-Match ticket for the Aug. 19 drawing sold at the Giant at 842 Muddy Branch Road, Gaithersburg. Last date to claim is Feb. 17, 2020.

 

If you have one of the lucky tickets, sign the back of the ticket immediately and put it in a safe location until you can claim your prize at Lottery headquarters located at 1800 Washington Boulevard in Baltimore. If the prizes are not claimed, the money is used for other Lottery prizes, according to state law.
