Wins with Million Dollar Spectacular game

The owner of an Eastern Shore father-son business, B & B Logging, just toppled a $10,000 prize on the Million Dollar Spectacular scratch-off.

Logging work slows down in the winter, said lucky Billy Lester of Millington, and that’s why he had free time to enjoy Maryland Lottery fun and games. The Queen Anne’s County resident and his son Brian spend time in winter months keeping residents’ hearths supplied with firewood from last year’s cuttings and staying limber for next year’s lumber.

“We ship logs all over the state, so a week off can leave you sore as the dickens when work resumes,” Billy said.

On one of these slow days, the 57-year-old purchased a $20 Million Dollar Spectacular scratch-off from Outpost #544 at 1921 Dudley Corner Road in Millington. He actually left his lucky scratch-off in the cab of his truck until his son Brian reminded him about it. Billy discovered his big win on a Saturday on the way to work.

The $10,000 prize comes at the perfect time, Billy said, allowing him to pay bills while the weather has work stymied. “This will allow us to cushion the down time.”

The Million Dollar Spectacular scratch-off game has two $1 million prizes remaining along with many other prizes from $20 to $50,000.
