June 18 drawings yield big wins in four counties
Players are winning all over Maryland! Three different tickets will share in the $1.35 million Multi-Match jackpot on Thursday, June 18, and there were two top-prize-winning tickets sold for that night’s $50,000 Bonus Match 5 top prize.
This is the second Multi-Match jackpot hit in 2020. The winners will split an estimated annuity pool of $1.35 million or a $1.2 million cash option (before taxes). A three-way split of the cash option makes the win $409,914 for each player. The winning tickets with the numbers 4, 27, 28, 31, 32 and 36 were sold at:
- 7-Eleven #34560, 121 Kentlands Boulevard, Gaithersburg (Montgomery County)
- Town Center Market, 4705 Queensbury Road, Riverdale (Prince George’s County)
- U5 Foods, 21926 Dover Bridge Road, Preston (Caroline County)
Our other Multi-Match jackpot hit in 2020 took place March 16 for $1.5 million at 7-Eleven in Columbia.
The two winning Bonus Match 5 tickets have the winning numbers of 6, 9, 20, 25 and 29; the Bonus Ball was 7. These wins bring our 2020 total Bonus Match 5 wins to 38. Each player will receive a $50,000 prize. The lucky retailer locations are:
- Grape & Grain, 19233 Watkins Mill Road, Montgomery Village (Montgomery County)
- Red Dot Liquors, 7408 Windsor Mill Road, Baltimore (Baltimore County)
Lottery officials recommend the winners sign the back of the tickets and keep them in a safe place until claiming the prize. Winners typically get 182 days from the date of the drawing to claim prizes. However, the Lottery has temporarily extended claiming deadlines due to Maryland’s COVID-19 state of emergency. The Lottery Customer Resource Center is temporarily closed but winners can claim prizes by mail or wait until the Lottery’s office reopens. Details on how to claim by mail are available here.
All five lucky retailers will receive bonuses for selling the winning tickets.
