Trio of $50,000-Winning Tickets Sold for Saturday Drawings

Lucky tickets sold in Bonus Match 5, Powerball games

Three lucky players are $50,000 richer after winning a Bonus Match 5 top prize and two Powerball third-tier prizes in Saturday, Nov. 9 drawings.

Check your tickets! The lucky Bonus Match 5 player bought a winning ticket at Westlake Liquors located at 1182 Smallwood Drive in Waldorf. The ticket matches the winning numbers of 1, 7, 15, 29 and 38; the Bonus Ball was 30. This is the 40th top-prize Bonus Match 5 ticket sold in 2019.

Players bought the $50,000 winning Powerball tickets at New Market Service Center in St. Mary’s County and Liquor Barn in Carroll County. New Market Service Center is located at 29233 Three Notch Road in Mechanicsville, and Liquor Barn is at 520 East Baltimore Street in Taneytown.

No one hit the jackpot in Saturday’s Powerball drawing, which had the winning numbers of 14, 17, 35, 38 and 60; the Power Ball was 25. The Powerball jackpot rolled to $60 million for the Wednesday, Nov. 13 drawing, with a cash option of $40.3 million. In 2019, Maryland has sold 45 $50,000-winning Powerball tickets.

Maryland Lottery officials encourage each winner to sign the back of the ticket immediately and put it in a safe location. Winners have 182 days from the drawing date to claim their prizes in person at Lottery headquarters, located at 1800 Washington Blvd. in Baltimore.
