Gold Hard Cash, Home Run Riches games deliver top prizes
Winners kept flooding into Maryland Lottery headquarters on Monday, May 9, and those with top-prize scratch-off wins included two men claiming a combined $150,000.
A 37-year-old Cecil County man found his $100,000 fortune with a $10 Gold Hard Cash ticket that he purchased at the Sunoco A Plus in North East. He plans to spend his prize on private school for his children.
His lucky Cecil County Lottery retailer located at 2391 West Pulaski Highway has celebrated several other top-prize scratch-off wins. The Sunoco A Plus will receive a $1,000 bonus from the Lottery for selling the top-prize Gold Hard Cash scratch-off.
A 36-year-old Rockville man took home a $50,000 top prize on the Home Run Riches scratch-off. The $5 game still has plenty of prizes remaining, including two more top prizes and nine $5,000 prizes. The game also has a second-chance contest through My Lottery Rewards that awards cash to those selected as a Contestant of the Game for Baltimore Orioles games throughout the baseball season.
The Montgomery County player’s win also helps his lucky retailer, Montgomery Market Place at 7101 Democracy Boulevard in Bethesda. The store will receive a $500 bonus from the Lottery for selling the top-prize scratch-off in the popular game.
Congratulations to these players and Lottery retailers!
