Lucky player wins $250,000 on Club Casino scratch-off
Six months after a big Maryland Lottery win, a persistent Washington County resident found $250,000 worth of luck playing the same Club Casino scratch-off game.
The lucky player was visiting the AC&T convenience store on 8650 Sharpsburg Pike in Fairplay when the urge to play scratch-offs hit. Our winner bought three scratch-offs and hesitated briefly before deciding to buy the fourth $10 Club Casino instant ticket. The state employee took the tickets to the car to scratch and came up empty on the first three tickets. That fourth ticket, however, was loaded with Lottery luck!
The 50-something winner plans to use the $250,000 prize to pay off bills, buy a car to commute to work, make financial donations and take a much-needed vacation.
AC&T will receive a $1,000 prize for selling this top-prize ticket. While our winner claimed the last $250,000 top-prize ticket, there are still more than 20,000 prizes ranging from $10 to $500.
