Lucky ticket sold in Monday, March 23 drawing

Congratulations to a lucky player in Western Maryland! The Maryland Lottery is looking for the Bonus Match 5 player who is $50,000 richer today after buying a ticket for the Monday, March 23 drawing in Hagerstown.

AC&T #140 at 724 Frederick Street in Hagerstown sold the ticket, which matches the winning numbers of 2, 4, 12, 16 and 30; the Bonus Ball was 29.

Lottery officials urge the winner to sign the back of the ticket and put it in a safe place. The player has 182 days to claim the prize either by mail or in person at Lottery headquarters at 1800 Washington Blvd. in Baltimore.

Winning tickets can be redeemed by mail using the mail-in claim form available on the How To Claim page of mdlottery.com. The Lottery’s Customer Resource Center in Baltimore is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Mondays; and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays.

This is our sixth winning Bonus Match 5 ticket of 2020.

The Washington County retailer also has reason to celebrate! The Lottery will give the store a bonus of $500 for selling a top-prize ticket in the game.

Bonus Match 5 drawings take place seven days a week. Players select five numbers ranging from 1 to 39. The Bonus Ball drawn from the remaining 34 numbers provides extra chances to win. Your ticket is a winner if you match five, four or three of the original five winning numbers selected in the drawing. If you match the Bonus Ball number, you only need to match four, three or two of your original numbers to win!
