Who says that you have to think outside of the box?! A lucky Washington, D.C. woman actually thought inside the box on a Bonus Crossword scratch-off and won a $30,000 top prize.
The $3 Bonus Crossword 3rd Edition game is one of the Lottery’s newer instant tickets, having just launched on Feb. 22. There are still many prizes remaining, including six $30,000 top prizes and more than 820,000 smaller prizes ranging from $3 to $5,000.
The 63-year-old found her Lottery luck at a Sunshine Ethio located at 6907 New Hampshire Avenue in Takoma Park. Sharing the winner’s luck, the Montgomery County business also gets in on the winning action. Sunshine Ethio will receive a $300 bonus from the Lottery for selling a $30,000 top-prize winning instant ticket.
