Hot tickets sold in Bethesda and Germantown
Among the lucky winners of Maryland Lottery games in the past week were two people who claimed prizes of $10,000 after buying scratch-offs in the games Win Big and Power 8s.
The winners both redeemed their hot tickets on May 28 at Lottery headquarters in Baltimore.
The Win Big ticket’s beneficiary was a 46-year-old man from Silver Spring, who bought the prize-winner at the BP gas station at 19911 Aircraft Drive in Germantown. The $20 ticket has a top prize of $1 million, and three of the original seven top prizes are unclaimed.
The Power 8s winner, a 51-year-old man from Bethesda, made the lucky buy at Giant #132 grocery, 10400 Old Georgetown Road, also in Bethesda. The $10 ticket has a top prize of $100,000, of which four of the original 11 top prizes remain unclaimed.
Congratulations to these winners!
