Players hail from Annapolis, Rockville, Windsor Mill
A Mega Millions winning ticket and two scratch-offs, all worth $10,000 each, were among claims highlights this week at Maryland Lottery headquarters in Baltimore.
A 59-year-old player from Annapolis claimed the $10,000 Mega Millions prize from the May 31 drawing. The lucky winner bought the hot ticket at Quiet Waters Exxon, 1000 Forest Drive in Annapolis. No one has hit the Mega Millions jackpot since March 12 and it sits at $530 million for the June 7 drawing. If no one wins this jackpot, it will roll to $575 million and become the fourth largest in Mega Millions history.
Two players from Windsor Mill split a $10,000 prize on June 4 on the $10 Bingo X10 scratch-off game. The lucky pair bought the winning scratch-off at T&T Liquors, which is located at 8622 Liberty Road in Randallstown.
A 31-year-old player from Rockville claimed a $10,000 prize on June 6 on the $20 Gold Rush X100 scratch-off. She bought the lucky instant ticket at the East Rockville Sunoco station, 4100 Aspen Hill Road in Rockville. This game went on sale May 20 and all seven of the $1 million top prizes remain unclaimed along with all 12 of its $50,000 prizes. Gold Rush x100 is at the number 3 spot on the Maryland Lottery Top 40 Scratch-Off chart, after an impressive chart debut at number 2.
