Montgomery County resident claims $50,000 prize on Holiday Luck X5 game
A Holiday Luck X5 scratch-off delivered February cheer to a Germantown man, who just claimed one of the game’s $50,000 top prize.
The $5 Holiday Luck X5 scratch-off was one of five holiday-themed instant tickets launched last fall. This fun game still has two $50,000 top prizes remaining as well as three unclaimed $5,000 prizes and hundreds of thousands of other prizes ranging from $5 to $1,000.
The 61-year-old bought the winning instant ticket at Chapel Beer and Wine located at 19737 Frederick Road in Germantown. For selling a top-prize winning scratch-off, the Montgomery County retailer received a $500 bonus from the Maryland Lottery. The bonus is equal to 1% of the top prize.
