Claims $12,000 prize on quick-pick ticket
A lucky Woodstock resident who only plays Keno occasionally is celebrating an unexpected $12,000 win on a quick-pick wager.
“I was very happy,” the winner said, recalling the moment he realized that his five-spot bet with the Super Bonus multiplier added had delivered a big prize. He placed his $60 bet at Romano’s Restaurant located at 6905 Ritchie Highway in Glen Burnie.
The 45-year-old doesn’t have any immediate plans for his winnings except to share them with his wife of 20 years and his three children.
Romano’s Restaurant will also receive a bonus for selling a winning Keno ticket of $10,000 or more. The Lottery retailer earns $120 for selling the lucky ticket. Congratulations to both the winner and the retailer!
