North Baltimore Woman Wins $30,000 Top Prize
Regina Fair of North Baltimore did not believe she’d won. The North Baltimore woman checked her X-Treme Winnings scratch-off ticket over and over again before handing it to her trusted granddaughter for confirmation. After close inspection, Regina’s granddaughter confirmed what she was hoping for: the ticket was a $30,000 top-prize winner.
Regina, an avid Maryland Lottery player, is no stranger to scratch-off winnings and regularly purchases tickets from her local Royal Farms store. She won $15,000 back in 2002, and she said she still regularly wins $50 – $100 prizes on scratch-offs. Regina does have a favorite ticket, but when that was sold out she made the decision to “take a chance” and purchase X-Treme Winnings.
The lucky winner plans to pay bills with her winnings and possibly treat herself to a trip to Atlantic City, where she hopes to win more money. She also may “take a chance again” on another X-Treme Winnings scratch-off in the near future.
The winning ticket was purchased at Royal Farms, located at 7204York Road in Baltimore.
