Finds $10,000 top prize on 10x Cash game
Xiomara Benavides of Laurel, who enjoys playing Maryland Lottery scratch-offs in hopes of finding a big prize, just saw her dreams come true. The 31-year-old translator from El Salvador found her Lottery luck by changing games and playing the popular 10x Cash scratch-off. She won the $10,000 top prize!
Xiomara enjoyed her big win after visiting the Lewisdale Market located at 7701 23rd Avenue in Hyattsville. Instead of buying her usual crossword game, she bought three 10x Cash instant tickets at the Prince George’s County retailer.
“I couldn’t believe it,” Xiomara said. She had to go back and check the $10 scratch-off again because she was in such disbelief. The happy winner shared her good news with her mom and her husband of 10 years. She plans to use her prize toward a new home.
The 10x Cash game still has 77 top prizes of $10,000 awaiting discovery at Lottery retailers along with thousands of prizes of $10 to $1,000.
