$10 FAST PLAY ticket returns a five-digit second-tier prize
A Maryland Lottery regular from Montgomery County will keep on playing after winning $50,000 on a $10 FAST PLAY ticket in the Winfall Doubler game.
Although the second-tier prize is a windfall by most measures, it was a “nice bump” for the winner, who is financially secure. The lucky winner said he enjoys playing Lottery games and will continue to do so in the future.
He bought his hot ticket at Potomac Shell, which is located at 12140 Darnestown Road in Gaithersburg. The FAST PLAY Winfall Doubler game went on sale Jan. 17 and has no prize less than $20. The game still has 23 unclaimed $100,000 top prizes, 19 $50,000 prizes, 29 unclaimed $20,000 prizes and 31 $10,000 prizes.
