If you had tickets for the Powerball drawing on Monday (July 14), now’s a good time to check them as there was a $50,000 winner sold at an Elkridge convenience store.
The numbers drawn July 14 are 8-12-45-46-63 with a Powerball of 24.
The $50,000 ticket was sold at the Royal Farms store at 8268 Lark Brown Road in Elkridge. The winner matched four of the first five balls plus the Powerball for a third-tier prize. The ticket sold by the Howard County store is the 17th third tier winning ticket sold so far in 2025 in Maryland.
There were no jackpot winners July 14, so the jackpot for the drawing on Wednesday, July 16, has increased to an estimated annuity of $264 million with a cash option of $119.7 million.
The Lottery encourages the Elkridge winner to sign the back of the ticket and keep it in a safe place. The player has 182 days after the date of the drawing to claim the prize.
A second tier winning ticket worth $1 million for the July 14 drawing was sold in Michigan. A second-tier win comes by matching the first five balls drawn but not the Powerball.
Instructions for claiming prizes are available on the How to Claim page of the Lottery website. Prizes of more than $25,000 must be claimed through Lottery headquarters, either in person or by mail. Lottery headquarters is in the Montgomery Park Business Center, 1800 Washington Blvd., Suite 330, in Baltimore. An appointment is required to claim in person (no walk-ins).
