Fridays are hot for the Maryland Lottery’s FAST PLAY progressive jackpot games. Nov. 21 marked the third consecutive Friday when a progressive jackpot FAST PLAY ticket hit. This time it was a $57,487 win on the game 7-11-21 ticket was in Silver Spring.
The ticket was purchased at the Safeway grocery store at 15411 New Hampshire Avenue in Silver Spring. The Montgomery County business picks up a 1 percent bonus of $574.87 for selling the winner.
FAST PLAY 7-11-21 is a $2 game that has been in stores since April 1, 2024. Today’s winner is the fifth progressive jackpot to hit, leaving seven progressive jackpots in the mix. The jackpot resets at $1,500. Like all progressive FAST PLAY games, the jackpot increases a bit each time a ticket is sold. There are also thousands of lower tier prizes on the game ranging from $2 to $1,000.
A $459,932-winning FAST PLAY Fat Wallet ticket was purchased by a St. Mary’s County teacher on Friday, Nov. 14, and an $125,985 FAST PLAY Lucky Numbers ticket was purchased Friday, Nov. 7, by a player from Annapolis.
The Lottery urges the winners to sign the backs of winning tickets and put it in a safe place. Winners have 182 days from the date of the drawing (or the purchase of a winning FAST PLAY ticket) to claim their prizes.
Instructions for claiming prizes are available on the How to Claim page of the Lottery website. Prizes of more than $25,000 must be claimed through Lottery headquarters, either in person or by mail. Lottery headquarters is in the Montgomery Park Business Center, 1800 Washington Blvd., Suite 330, in Baltimore. An appointment is required to claim in person (no walk-ins).
