Baltimore Keno Player Tries a Scratch-off, Wins $50,000

Loyal player took brief break from playing his favorite game

Sometimes you have to switch things up to get different results. That’s exactly what a Baltimore resident did when he took a break from playing his favorite numbers in Keno and purchased a $2,000,000 Gold Rush instant ticket. That change led the 39-year-old to a $50,000 prize!

The loyal player visited his lucky Maryland Lottery retailer, Joppa Liquors located at 1902 East Joppa Road in Parkville, to buy a scratch-off. He selected the $30 instant ticket and found the first second-level prize in the game.

The $2,000,000 Gold Rush instant ticket, which went on sale in February, still has five unclaimed $2,000,000 top prizes and seven more $50,000 prizes, in addition to thousands of others prizes ranging from $30 to $5,000.
