A $30,000 top prize win on the Bonus Crossword scratch-off will help “I’m Blessed” to pay down some bills and help family members.
For a stunned Baltimore woman, a day out running errands ended with a $30,000 top prize on the $3 Bonus Crossword scratch-off.
“I’m Blessed,” a name being used for publicity purposes, was spending her Saturday as she normally would. She’d been out shopping and made her last stop to pick up some of her favorite Lottery games at the Fast Stop Shop in Baltimore. Among her purchases were four of the 7th Edition Bonus Crossword tickets. She enjoys bingo and crossword games because of the extended play style, and she took her time playing once she arrived home. The very last ticket she scratched revealed the huge surprise.
“I saw four words first, then five, then ten,” said the excited winner. “I thought, “this can’t be”.”
To confirm the win, “I’m Blessed” went back to the Lottery retailer to have it scanned. Sure enough, the message revealed that she was a $30,000 winner.
The shocked player immediately headed home and shared the news with a few family members. After that she made arrangements to claim the big prize.
“I like to play for fun,” said the retired Housekeeper when she claimed the prize on Feb. 11. “It’s my enjoyment and finally winning is a blessing.”
“I’m Blessed” says that after paying off some bills and donating to charity, she’ll give some to her children. Anything left, she said she’ll save.
Also celebrating this win is the retailer: Fast Stop Shop at 1023 East Lombard Street receives a $300 bonus.
The 7th Edition Bonus Crossword scratch-off launched in February 2025, and still has three $30,000 top prizes remaining. It also has eight prizes at the $5,000 level up for grabs. In addition, there are many other prizes out there ranging from $3 to $1,000.
