Wins top prize on MONOPOLY™ X20 scratch-off
A truck driver from Baltimore who routinely picks up Lottery games for himself and his wife just unloaded a $50,000 top prize winning MONOPOLY™ X20 scratch-off at Lottery headquarters in Baltimore.
The 54-year-old found his load of Lottery luck at Man’s Liquors (trading as Young & Son Discount Liquor) in Baltimore. Although he enjoys playing all Lottery games, our winner is partial to instant tickets. On the day of his lucky purchase, the loyal player selected six scratch-offs at random, with one being the $5 MONOPOLY X20 game.
Discovering his big win “was really nice,” the happy player said. He told Lottery officials that his wife screamed with joy when she heard his great news. The player, who has made a 24-year career out of driving trucks, said he doesn’t have any plans to quit driving or stop playing Lottery games!
Man’s Liquors located at 6900 Holabird Avenue can also celebrate. The Baltimore County retailer will receive a $500 bonus from the Lottery for its role in selling a $50,000 top prize-winning scratch-off.
The MONOPOLY™ X20 scratch-off game launched on Jan. 17, 2022, as part of the MONOPOLY Second-Chance Promotion from the Maryland Lottery. The following scratch-offs joined the $5 ticket: $1 MONOPOLY X5, $2 MONOPOLY X10 and $10 MONOPOLY X50. In addition, two FAST PLAY games were introduced: $3 MONOPOLY Game Tokens and $20 MONOPOLY Properties.
Players can enter any non-winning MONOPOLY™ scratch-off and winning or non-winning FAST PLAY MONOPOLY™ tickets into My Lottery Rewards for a chance to win cash prizes. There are six drawings, with each drawing awarding one Rolling Cash Jackpot and ten $2,500 prizes.
