2024 MSP Polar Bear Plunge

x20JOIN THE MARYLAND LOTTERY for a great cause at the 28th annual Maryland State Police Polar Bear Plunge at Sandy Point State Park.
Besides being great fun to watch, this fundraising event benefits year-round sports and leadership programs for more than 15,500 athletes and teammates of Special Olympics Maryland. Cheer on the individuals who raise funds by plunging into the chilly waters of the Chesapeake Bay and on Saturday, check out the 3 p.m. costume competition for plungers.
If diving into the Bay in February isn’t your thing, head over to our booth for Lottery giveaways and lots of fun and games! We’ll be on hand from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday.
Make sure to give our famous prize wheel a spin (ages 18 and up). Meet our events team, ask questions about upcoming games and promotions and pose for a photo or two with your Lottery souvenir. Everybody walks away a winner!
