FAST PLAY Novice Wins $112,533 Progressive Jackpot

Harford County resident wins with Home Run Riches Bases Loaded game

A Havre de Grace man achieved a perfect batting score on the FAST PLAY Home Run Riches Bases Loaded game, winning a $112,533 progressive jackpot prize on his first time at bat.

According to the lucky winner, he occasionally plays scratch-offs but had never before tried his luck with FAST PLAY.

“I don’t know why I decided to play it,” he said. “I was in the store and saw it in the machine and I decided to buy it.”

When the money manager got home, he was in shock when he realized the ticket won. The Harford County resident said he had never won more than $5 on any contest in his life.

“I was a non-believer at first,” he told Lottery officials after claiming his prize. “When I came here, I was still worried that I was not a winner and thought you were going to send me home.”

The lucky player said he plans to pay off bills, take a vacation and put the rest of his winnings toward retirement.

He purchased his lucky ticket at Weis Markets #193 at 943 Pulaski Highway. The Havre de Grace retailer will receive a $1,000 bonus from the Lottery for selling the progressive jackpot-winning ticket.
