Jackpot rolls to $414 million for Friday’s drawing
Here’s a reason to smile, Mega Millions players! If you bought a ticket at Montgomery Exxon in Elkridge for the Tuesday, April 4 drawing, you may be Maryland’s $30,000 winner.
One lucky player in Maryland matched four of the winning numbers and the Mega Ball to capture the third-tier $10,000 prize. The winner added the Megaplier option, which tripled the prize to $30,000!
No one won the Mega Millions jackpot, which rolled to an estimated annuity value of $414 million for the Friday, April 7 drawing with an estimated cash option of $221 million.
Check your ticket for a $30,000 win if you bought it at Montgomery Exxon located at 6310 Washington Boulevard in Howard County. The winning numbers are 1, 37, 45, 62 and 64; the Mega Ball was 4 and the Megaplier was 3x. Lottery officials encourage winners to sign the backs of their tickets immediately and put them in a safe location until they can claim their prize.
Nationally, 858,886 tickets were winners in last night’s drawing. Maryland retailers sold 21,921 winning tickets including 3,625 with the $1 Megaplier option added to the $2 ticket.
Winners get 182 days from the date of the drawing to claim prizes. Instructions on claiming prizes in person or by mail are available HERE. Players must redeem prizes larger than $25,000 by mail or at Lottery headquarters in the Montgomery Park Business Center, 1800 Washington Blvd., Suite 330 in Baltimore.
