Baltimore woman bought lucky ticket at Baltimore City convenience store
A $2 quick-pick ticket put a Baltimore woman on the fast track to a $660,000 jackpot win in the April 29 Multi-Match drawing. This week, she claimed the second of Maryland’s three Multi-Match jackpots won in 2024.
The anonymous player visited St. Paul Mini Mart at 815 St. Paul Street in Baltimore to buy her ticket. She matched the winning numbers of 4, 13, 21, 34, 42 and 43 to claim the jackpot prize.
Playing Multi-Match is simple. Players get 18 numbers on a $2 ticket. Pick your own six numbers for the first line or let the terminal pick the numbers. You automatically get two more lines of six numbers, randomly selected, and there are four ways to match and win. You can win with all six numbers on one line, as this player did, which accounts for the first three ways to win. You can also combine the matches in all three lines for the big win. The Lottery draws six numbers from one to 43 every Monday and Thursday night.
For its role in selling a jackpot-winning ticket, the Baltimore City store earned a bonus of $1,000 from the Lottery. A $2.1 million jackpot-winning ticket sold March 25 in Belcamp was claimed by an Aberdeen couple, while a $580,000 jackpot-winning ticket, still unclaimed, was sold May 30 at Wawa #8521 in Adelphi.
Other top Multi-Match jackpot wins to date were $4.8 million on Sept. 19, 2009; $4.45 million on March 18, 2010; $3.8 million on Dec. 16, 2010 and $3.6 million on June 8, 2015.
