Mega Millions Jackpot reaches $1.15 Billion, $30K Winning Ticket Sold Dundalk

Three $10K winners sold in Bethesda, Glen Burnie & Lexington Park

The Mega Millions jackpot continues to grow as there was no jackpot winner in Tuesday night’s drawing. However, some gifts were handed out from the Dec. 24 drawing including a $30,000-winning ticket purchased in Dundalk and three $10,000 third-tier winners sold in Bethesda, Glen Burnie and Lexington Park.

The winning numbers from Tuesday’s drawing were 11, 14, 38, 45 and 46 with a Mega Ball of 3 and a 3X Megaplier prize multiplier.

The $30,000 winner purchased their ticket at the Dundalk Royal Farms at 7701 German Hill Road in Baltimore County. The Dundalk player used the Megaplier to triple the third-tier prize to $30,000.

The $10,000 winning tickets were sold in Bethesda at the Montgomery Mall Shell at 10211 Westlake Drive in Montgomery County, the Glen Burnie winner was sold at Aquahart Liquors at 14 Aquahart Road in Anne Arundel County and the Lexington Park winner was sold at the Pegg Road Shell at 22141 Three Notch Road in St. Mary’s County.

The Dec. 24 drawing produced more than 101,000 winners in Maryland between $2 and $30,000.

A $1 million second-tier winning ticket from the Dec. 10 drawing remains unclaimed. That ticket was purchase at Wawa at 709 Belair Rd in Bel Air.

This Friday’s Mega Millions jackpot is the fifth-largest jackpot in Mega Millions history and the ninth-largest U.S. jackpot ever. The Dec. 27 drawing has an estimated jackpot annuity of $1.15 billion with an estimated cash option of $516.1 million.

Maryland winners in Tuesday night’s drawing have 182 days to claim their prizes. Lottery officials encourage all winners to sign the backs of winning tickets immediately and keep those tickets secure until arrangements to claim have been made.

Prizes up to $25,000 can be claimed at the cashier window of any of the six casinos in Maryland or at the Maryland Lottery Customer Resource Center in Baltimore, which is open by appointment only.
