Different horse picks give her a big win on Trifecta bet
An avid Racetrax player from Anne Arundel County changed her strategy and found Lottery luck. She usually opts for a Trifecta bet, but this time she decided to switch up her horses. She bought five $10 draws, placed her bets on horses 8, 12 and 2, and is now celebrating a $28,280 win.
The 64-year-old bought her winning ticket at High’s #048 located at 1624 Annapolis Road in Odenton. She occasionally stops in to buy her tickets in the morning before going to work. After placing her bet and having to dash to work, the Odenton resident didn’t have a chance to check her ticket until later. She was sitting in her car, ready to go home for the day, when she took a second to check the winning Racetrax numbers. She just could not believe it. The lucky winner had to take a second look at her ticket before realization of her big win finally settled in.
She shared the great news with her mom and husband. When asked of her plans for her winnings, the lucky lady said the prize will all go into her retirement fund. When not working or playing Lottery games, she enjoys traveling.
Her lucky Lottery retailer will receive a $282.80 bonus from the Lottery for its role in selling a winning Racetrax ticket worth $28,280.
