Baltimore man claims $100,000 top prize on Lucky Times 10 instant ticket

After consistently playing Lottery games and patiently awaiting a top-prize win, a Baltimore man calling himself “About Time” took his seat in the Lottery Winner’s Circle to celebrate his $100,000 prize.

The 66-year-old had his patience tried in a number of ways when he tried to buy a Lucky Times 10 scratch-off. First, his Lottery retailer of choice was closed so he tried another retailer, which was also closed. This led to him visiting M&K Mini Mart located at 233 North Howard Street in Baltimore. After buying one round of instant tickets, “About Time” had another $20 to spare. He bought two $10 Lucky Times 10 instant tickets. One scratch-off delivered a $10 win and the other held a whopping $100,000 top prize.

“There was a smile on my face and joy in my heart,” “About Time” said. “I always knew that one day I would hit it big.” The lucky player says that he will use his winnings to buy a new home and furnish it. He’ll also take time to visit family members who live out of town.

M&K Mini Mart will receive a $1,000 prize for its role in selling a top-prize winning scratch-off worth $100,000. This is the first top-prize winning instant ticket sold in the Lucky Times 10 game, which went on sale Nov. 21. There are still seven top prizes remaining along with eight $50,000 second-tier prizes and 26 $10,000 prizes.
