Racetrax Trifecta Win Helps Baltimore College Student Pay Education Bills

Baltimore City resident “T.A.” plans to use all of her $30,734 Racetrax win to pay off her college education.

Wins $30,734 on 20-draw ticket

An anonymous Baltimore City Racetrax player nicknamed “T.A.” plans to use her big payday to pay off her college education.

The 20-year-old woman came into the Winner’s Circle at Lottery headquarters with her mother on the phone and pep in her step. Her $20 Trifecta wager placed June 17 with her winning picks of 10, 11 and 12 led to a $30,734 prize. She won big on the third of 20 races.

Her lucky Lottery retailer, Soda Pop Shop at 1026 Ingleside Avenue in Catonsville, can celebrate, too. For selling a winning Racetrax ticket of $10,000 or more, the Maryland Lottery retailer receives a bonus equal to 1% of the prize, or $307.34.
