Random Ticket Purchase Leads to $57,777 Top-Prize Win

Baltimore County woman claims FAST PLAY SEVENS prize

A Baltimore County retiree, who occasionally plays scratch-offs and Keno, randomly bought a FAST PLAY SEVENS ticket earlier this month. It didn’t take long for her to realize she won a $57,777 top prize.

“I said to myself ‘Holy cow’,” she told Lottery officials while claiming her prize. “It didn’t look real.”

Right at the top of her ticket she spotted a number 18 with the $57,777 below. The winner scanned her ticket using the Maryland Lottery app on her phone and was finally convinced it was real.

The Sparks retiree plans to use her winnings to pay off bills.

Hunt Valley Exxon at 11235 York Road in Cockeysville is also enjoying some lottery luck. They collected a $577 bonus for selling the a top-prize winning FAST PLAY ticket.
