CASH POP™
CASH POP is a Maryland Lottery draw game that launched on May 6, 2024.
Drawings are held four times a day (9 a.m., 1 p.m., 6 p.m., and 11 p.m.). In each drawing, one winning POP (number) is selected from a range of 1 to 15.
CASH POP tickets can be purchased for as little as $1 per POP per drawing, up to $10 per POP per drawing. Your ticket cost is determined by:
- The amount played per POP (amounts to play are $1, $2, $5, or $10); and
- The number of POPS played per drawing (any amount from a single POP to all 15);
- The number of advance drawings purchased (up to 10 consecutive drawings)
You must be 18 years old or older to buy or cash CASH POP tickets.
- Choose a POP (number) or multiple POPS (numbers) from 1 to 15.
- Play $1, $2, $5, or $10 on each POP (number) selected per drawing.
- The higher the amount played per POP, the higher the potential payout.
- Tickets will show the POPS you selected for each drawing. The prize amount you could win per POP is generated by the Lottery terminal and will be displayed in a circle beneath the POP printed on your ticket.
- Win the prize displayed in the circle under the POP on your ticket if the POP on your ticket matches the winning POP drawn by the Lottery for that drawing.
- Play up to 10 consecutive drawings. If you purchase multiple drawings, you will receive a separate ticket for each drawing you purchased.

Drawings are held four times a day, every day:
9 a.m., 1 p.m., 6 p.m., 11 p.m.
After each CASH POP drawing, the winning POP (number) will be posted on mdlottery.com, the Lottery’s mobile app, and at Lottery retailers. You can scan your ticket on the mobile app or at any Lottery retailer to see if it is a winning ticket.

Prize amounts of $600 or less can be cashed at any Maryland Lottery retailer.

Your chances of winning increase when you play more POPS in a drawing. You may select any number of POPS for each drawing from the range of 1 to 15, including all 15.
Top prizes range from $250 to $2,500.
The minimum prize is 5x (times) the amount that was played for that POP.
Winning tickets valued up to $600 can be redeemed at any Maryland Lottery retailer. Winning tickets valued at more than $600 can be redeemed at Expanded Cashing Authority Program (XCAP™) locations. See the How To Claim page for information.
You must be 18 years of age to buy or cash CASH POP Tickets (“Ticket” or “Tickets”). By purchasing a CASH POP Ticket, the player agrees that all Lottery laws, statutes, regulations, policies, procedures, decisions, and rules, and all other applicable laws, as amended from time to time, govern all aspects of the Ticket, game, playslip, claiming, prizes, and payments.
You can play up to ten CASH POP games (draws) on each playslip. All POPS selected will appear on a Ticket and be assigned a prize directly under the POP. A Ticket is valid for only one draw and all POPS selected will appear on the Ticket. Multiple Tickets will be issued if multiple draws are selected. Each Ticket will include POPS selected.
This playslip is neither a valid receipt, nor proof of purchase. The Lottery is responsible only for numbers actually played via the Lottery terminal. Neither the Lottery, nor Lottery retailers, will be responsible for printing errors. The Lottery is not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed tickets or winning numbers displayed in error. Tickets that are mutilated, altered or irregular in any manner, or otherwise fail to meet validation or security requirements, are void. Lottery’s liability for void or nonconforming Tickets, if any, is limited to replacement of the Ticket.
Tickets are bearer instruments. For your protection, sign the back of your Ticket. Prizes must be claimed within 182 days from the date of the draw. Tickets may not be cancelled.
