Multi-Match®
Multi-Match is a lotto-style game. For just $2.00, you get to play 18 numbers with four easy ways to match and win. When you play Multi-Match, for each game you play, you will be able to select your first line of six numbers or you can choose Quick Pick. You will automatically receive two additional lines of six randomly selected numbers, for a total of 18 numbers. Plus, there are four different ways to win – one chance to win per line, that’s three ways to win and a fourth chance to win by combining the matches in all three lines.
The Lottery draws six numbers from one to 43 every Monday and Thursday night. If you match between three and five numbers on any one line you will win up to $1,000 for that line. If you match between five and 18 numbers total on all three lines combined, you will win up to $2,000 more. And, if you match all six on any one line you will win a jackpot that starts at $500,000 and goes up from there every time the big prize isn’t won.
Each playslip has five Multi-Match games. The cost of each game is $2.00. To play all five games, the ticket costs $10.
1. Pick Your First Six Numbers
A play consists of 18 numbers. You can select and mark your first six numbers from 1 to 43. Make a heavy vertical mark through each number you choose. Use only pencil or blue or black ink. Red ink will not be accepted. If you make a mistake, mark the “VOID” box at the bottom of that game, then use any remaining open games on your playslip to complete your selections. Please do not try to erase errors. You will automatically receive two additional randomly selected lines of six numbers each for a total of three lines of play, 18 numbers per game, for each single game.
2. Choose Quick Pick
If you want all of your numbers to be randomly selected, mark the Quick Pick box at the bottom of each game you want to play, and all 18 numbers will be automatically selected for you.
3. Play The Same Numbers Up To 10 Times In A Row
If you like, you can play the same numbers for two, three, four, five, or ten drawings in a row, including the next drawing, by marking the appropriate “NUMBER OF DRAWS” box or the DRAW DAY box, if applicable.
4. Double Check Your Picks
Before you give your playslip to the Lottery retailer for processing, be sure to verify that the numbers selected on your playslip are the numbers you want to play. It is your responsibility to make sure your playslip represents the numbers you wish to play and the drawing(s) you want to enter. MULTI-MATCH TICKETS CANNOT BE CANCELLED OR VOIDED AFTER THEY HAVE BEEN PROCESSED.

Prize amounts of $600 or less in red can be cashed at any Maryland Lottery retailer.

The approximate overall probability of winning is 1 in 8.5.
The fixed prizes may be paid on a pari-mutuel basis and will be lower than the published prize amounts if certain levels of prize liability are reached.
* The Lottery will announce the estimated jackpot annuity value and cash option value for every Multi-Match drawing. The advertised amount will be the prize amount that is paid to the winner(s) of the jackpot; the jackpot prize will be divided among multiple plays. When a jackpot prize is claimed, jackpot winner(s) will have the option to receive the jackpot prize in annuity payments paid 25 equal installments or in a single “cash” payment. A jackpot prize will be paid in an annuity, unless the winner selects “cash” payment method within 60 days after the validation date, even though a winner has 182 days after the drawing to claim a prize.
**The Probability that one or more lines in a three-line game will win a prize at the given level. Since more than one line can win a prize, levels are not mutually exclusive.
By purchasing a Multi-Match ticket, all players agree to all Multi-Match game rules, as well as all Maryland State Lottery statutes, regulations, and rules, and any changes thereto, govern all aspects of the Multi-Match ticket, game and prizes. For your protection, sign the back of your game ticket. Your game ticket, not your playslip, is the only valid proof of the selections made and the only valid proof for claiming a prize. The Lottery is only responsible for numbers actually played via the Lottery terminal. Neither the Lottery, nor Lottery retailers, will be responsible for printing errors. The Lottery is not responsible for lost, stolen, or destroyed tickets, tickets redeemed by a Lottery retailer in error or winning numbers repeated or displayed in error. All winning tickets are subject to validation by the Lottery in accordance with Lottery rules and regulations. Multi-Match tickets are bearer instruments. Prizes are not assignable or transferable. All winnings are subject to state and federal taxation. Tickets may not be sold to minors under the age of 18. Prizes must be claimed within 182 days after the date of the drawing.
