There’s still plenty of summer left and we have a month full of fun events across the state. We start by gearing up for the Ravens season with two events in five days.
We kick off the month at the Ravens Stadium Practice inside M&T Bank Stadium on Sunday, Aug. 3. We’ll be there from 1 p.m. until the end of practice. We’ll then return to our regular spot on RavensWalk for the Ravens preseason game against the Indianapolis Colts. Stop by before kick-off to spin our wheel and play your favorite Lottery games. We’ll be there from 4-7 p.m. You can find the Lottery tent at every home game.
The fun continues on Saturday, Aug. 9 with the Havre de Grace Arts, Wine, Jazz & Soul Fest at the Concord Point Lighthouse Keeper’s House. The event runs from 11 a.m.-6 p.m., with the first hour being VIP only. Grammy nominated artist Maysa headlines the show.
The next day, you can show off your Maryland pride in Anne Arundel County. Our booth will be packed with Maryland-themed Lottery prizes at Pasadena’s Kurtz Beach for the Made in Maryland festival Sunday, Aug. 10 from 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
We head back to M&T Bank Stadium on Thursday, Aug. 14, but this time it is for the Baltimore Magazine Best of Baltimore event. The Best of Baltimore issue is celebrating its 50th anniversary. Stop by our Lottery booth to celebrate with Lottery prizes from 6-11 p.m.
Then we make our final trip of the month and stay put for a while at the Maryland State Fair in Timonium. The Lottery will once again occupy the front lobby of the Exhibition Hall. Stop in to spin our wheel and purchase all your favorite Lottery games. We’ll be there for the entirety of the Fair – Aug. 21-24, Aug. 28-Sept. 1 and Sept. Sept. 4-7. Maryland Lottery Day at the Fair will take place Saturday, Aug, 30, and will include a visit from former Ravens players. New this year, the Lottery is sponsoring Puppy Yoga and the Battle of the Bay: Wild Caught Blue Catfish Chowdown. Stay tuned for more info.
