Stop by Lottery booth to win cool prizes
Our fun and games team is packing the Maryland Lottery travel van with prizes of all shapes and sizes to award to fans attending festivals, fundraisers and sports events this summer.
We’ll travel around the state in June and July, bringing smiles to our players’ faces as they win souvenirs by spinning our famous prize wheel (ages 18 & up). Do you know Lottery trivia? Watch for our Trivia Master Mike Powell at select events! You could win scratch-offs for providing the correct answer to his Lottery questions.
We have a busy summer on tap and add events all of the time, so keep an eye on the Lottery events calendar at mdlottery.com/events. First up this weekend is the two-day Capital Jazz Fest in Columbia, which is the perfect event to attend if winning is music to your ears. Gates open at 10, the prize wheel starts spinning when the first fan walks up to our booth and bands will start filling the air with marvelous music at noon.
Next, we hop over to Camden Yards on Wednesday, June 12, to help Orioles’ fans get in the winning mindset before the first pitch against the Atlanta Braves. Choose from two events on June 15 or plan to split your time between Gaithersburg and Westminster for a festival and a fundraiser. The daylong Westminster Beer and BBQ Stroll is sure to whet your appetite for a tasty meal and a spectacular Lottery souvenir. Or, grab Fido and head to Gaithersburg for the 23rd Annual Paws in the Park Dog Walk & Fest, a fabulous fundraiser running from noon to 4 p.m.
We then switch gears for a festival featuring female musicians on June 29 in Old Ellicott City. Join us at the Ladybug Music Festival to walk away with a Lottery prize, take photos with your friends at our booth or ask our events team about upcoming promotions.
Our July events include the 14th Annual Lake Arbor Jazz Festival on July 20, Baltimore Magazine’s Crab Feast on July 20 and a showdown between the Orioles and Padres on July 27. We sure hope to see you at one or more of these events!
